Mei Lyn Woon - Director, Registered Music Therapist
Mei Lyn has been a Registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association since 2022. Mei Lyn has developed music therapy programs in the community with private practices in early childhood intervention, and has worked in dementia education, passionate about delivering workshops, supporting and education families and talking about the ways music can support health and wellbeing.
With a passion to combine musical expression, creativity and authentic and supportive healthcare approaches, Mei Lyn chose to pursue music therapy to facilitate meaningful experiences and support the strengths of others.
Mei Lyn has a Bachelor of Arts (Music) from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne. She is also a qualified Neurologic Music Therapist.
Outside of work, Mei Lyn can be found food hopping with friends, stand-up paddling on the river, on the dancefloor doing salsa or line dancing, researching new recipes, and of course, committing musical crimes in jam sessions on the guitar, keyboard or the percussion instruments in her work trolley.
